i broke up with my boyfriend today. ive noticed half the time hes with me, im only causing him to be unhappy. this is really corny, i know. but if the person youre with keeps making you unhappy, why stay with them? i decided to leave him. right now you obviously go through pain, but in the longrun, you’ll realize i wasnt wrong for breaking up. i really wish i could tell him this. but no matter how many times i try to tell him, he tells me he loves me and thats all that matters. even if you say that, i love you and i dont want to see you hurt. and worst is i know im the person thats hurting you and i cant do anything about it. i just have to walk away from you looking like im an asshole and a liar. you say that my love for you was a lie because i could let go of our relationship within 5 minutes. i wont lie. i could let go of our relationship within 5 minutes, but my feelings still havent changed. i cant stress over how much i want to see you happy. and i know if i wanted to accomplish that goal, id have to step out of your life first. it really sucks to know the person you love thinks you were playing around with them the whole time while all youre trying to do is give them the better choice.
i really have no balls to say this to him. cause if i do, we’ll just walk in circles again. but i have no balls to say this on any of my internet websites as well, cause i know if i let these thoughts get out, itd just make it worse. the only thing i could think of was tumblr. sometimes, tumblr is like a best friend. better than a “someone” you can run to when youre depressed. its always there and will take anything you want to let out.
